Introduction
Mikumi National Park ,”The mini Serengeti” The open horizons and abundant wildlife of the Mkata Floodplain the popular center piece of Mikumi. Commonly seen animals are Elephant, Giraffe, Zebra, Antelope, Wildebeest, Eland, Crocodile, Hippo, Baboon, if you are lucky, won’t miss to see Lion & very lucky to see a Leopard, over 300 spices of birds are seen are saddle bill stork, hammer kop, malachite kingfisher, lilac breasted roller, yellow throated long claw, battler eagle etc. Another attraction: the Hippo Pools, where you can watch hippos wallowing and snorting at close range

Day 1: Dar-Saadani
Depart Dar es Salaam at 8:00am to Saadani National Park with lunch packed, sunset game viewing in the park. Saadani is where the beach meets the bush. The only wildlife sanctuary in East Africa to boast an Indian Ocean beachfront, it possesses all the attributes that make Tanzania’s tropical coastline and islands so popular with European sun-worshippers. Day 2: Saadani
Early morning sunrise game viewing, back to the Camp/Lodge for breakfast. Safaris optional include walking safaris, game drives and boat safaris. Dinner and overnight will be at Lodge/Camp.
Day 3: Saadani – Mikumi
Morning after breakfast, depart to Mikumi National Park for sunset game viewing. Animals commonly found Include lion, eland, hartebeest, buffalo, wildebeest, giraffe, zebra and elephants. Wild dog can be seen in packs here. Dinner and overnight will be at Lodge/Camp.
Day 4: Mikumi
Morning after breakfast, full day game viewing in the park. The Mikumi flood plain is the main feature of the Park along with the bordering mountain ranges. Animals commonly found here include lion, eland, hartebeest, buffalo, wildebeest, giraffe, zebra, hippo and elephant. The Mikumi elephants are mainly grazers and do not causes damage. Dinner and overnight will be at Camp.
Day 5: Mikumi – Dar
Early morning sunrise game viewing, back to the Lodge/Camp for brunch. Late afternoon games drive en route back to Dar es Salaam.
