Day 2 | AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK Amboseli National Park. Amboseli National Park is in southern Kenya. The name “Amboseli” comes from a Maasai word meaning “salty dust”, and it is one of the best places in Africa to view large herds of elephants up close. Amboseli is known for its large elephant herds and views of immense Mount Kilimanjaro, across the border in Tanzania. On a clear day the Peak of Mt. Kenya is clearly visible. Day 5 | LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK Lake Nakuru is referred to as the pink lake because of its thousands of pink flamingos and other bird-life-it’s a Bird watchers paradise. It has a surprisingly number of animals, all the “big five” except the elephant can be seen here. Originally established as a bird sanctuary Nakuru is a Ramsar Wetland Area, known for its spectacular birdlife. When water levels are high enough massive flocks of flamingoes have been known to gather at Lake Nakuru. Highlights on the game drive may include sightings of tree-climbing lions and both black and white rhinos, for which the reserve is better known today. Day 6 | MASAI MARA Maasai Mara Offers superb plains scenery, unmatched safari activities and diverse wildlife, Masai Mara National Reserve is considered Kenya’s best park and one of Africa’s highest wildlife density regions for predators. The reserve covers 583 square miles (1510 square kilometers) of outstanding wilderness in southwest Kenya. The location, wildlife, activities and comfortable moderate climate puts Mara at the top of the list, even for the most discerning traveler to Kenya. Day 12 | CULTURAL TOUR The Bushmen are related to the Kalahari Bushmen of South Africa. They speak the same click language but do not understand each other, as they have been apart for very long. The Bushmen live a medieval kind of life style. They do not build permanent homes but follow the animals in the area as they trap and kill them for food. They are hunters and gatherers. After a brief hunting stint with the Bushmen, we go back to our vehicles and drive to the camp for lunch. You will also get a chance to visit maasai boma. Day 14 | TRANSFER TO KIBALE NP 8.30am after breakfast, depart for Kibale National Park arriving in time for lunch. Take a good rest then in the evening, you may take an optional visit to the Bigodi swamp for bird watching. Overnight at Primates Lodge (FB)

Day 15 | CHIMPANZEE TRACKING 08.00am: Today you hike through Kibale forest to track the chimpanzee and other primates such as the black and white Colobus monkeys, blue monkeys, black faced red colobus, red tailed monkeys and olive baboons. Kibale National Park is home to 12 species of primates and a variety of bird life. Here you may see the great blue turaco. After the forest hike, spend the rest of the day at leisure or exploring the bird species at the age of the park. Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch and dinner. Overnight at Primates Lodge (FB)

Day 16 | TO QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK 10.00am: Depart for Queen Elizabeth National Park. In the evening you can enjoy a relaxed guided walk around the Lodge or an evening game drive in the Park. Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch and dinner. Overnight at Bush Lodge (FB)

Day 17 | KYAMBURA-CHIMP TRACKING 6.30 am breakfast, and later depart for Chimp tracking in Kyambura gorge on the edge of the Western Rift Valley. You will spend some time with these primates as they play and feed. You may also encounter other wildlife and primates like monkeys as you walk through this forest. (Depending on the number of guests, some can track in the morning and others in the afternoon due to limited number of people offered per tracking) Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch and dinner. Day 18 | ISHASHA GAME DRIVE-TO BUHOMA BWINDI After Breakfast, transfer to Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth for a game drive. This sector is famous for tree climbing lions, look into the cassia branches as you may see some lions resting in tree branches. Other animals like Elephants, buffalos, baboons may be seen in this area. Lunch will be en-route and after proceed to Bwindi National Park for overnight at Silverback Safari Lodge (FB)

Day 19 | GORILLA TRACKING After breakfast at 7.30 am, depart to the park headquarters in a private; proceed for briefing from park ranger guides before starting your Gorilla trek through steeply forested and beautiful landscape along several animal trails. The climax of the adventure is the opportunity to view the gentle and endangered mountain Gorillas which is an exciting and memorable experience, Picnic lunch to be enjoyed en-route. Day 20 | THE BATWA EXPERIENCE-BUHOMA COMMUNITY VISITS After Breakfast, spend a day visiting the local communities in Buhoma that include the Batwa (Pygmy) experience where will demonstrate to you their traditional ways of living and how they used to stay in the forest and their daily activities. Day 21 | DEPARTURE TO ENTEBBE BY FLIGHT (AM AND PM FLIGHTS) After breakfast, you are transferred to Kihihi Airstrip for your return flight to Entebbe. There are 2 options: 1 Departs Kihihi at 1055am and Arrives at 1155am and 1405 arriving 1555. Upon arrival in Entebbe, you will connect with your outbound flight. END OF OUR SERVICE
