DAY by DAY ITINERARY

Day 1: Arrive in Arusha
  • Arrival Details: Your adventure begins as you land at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO). A friendly tour representative will meet you and provide a warm welcome before transferring you to your hotel in Arusha.
  • Optional Activities:
    • Explore Arusha town if you arrive early: Visit the Maasai Market or the Cultural Heritage Centre.
    • Relax at your hotel and prepare for the exciting safari ahead.
  • Accommodation Options:
    • Kibo Palace Hotel – Enjoy a luxurious stay with modern amenities, a swimming pool, and fine dining.
    • Arusha Planet Lodge – Offers cozy rooms in a tranquil garden setting.
  • Meals: Bed & Breakfast (BB).
  • Drive Duration: Approximately 2.5 hours.

  • Activities:
    • After breakfast, drive to Tarangire National Park.

    • Embark on an afternoon game drive to spot large herds of elephants, majestic baobab trees, lions, giraffes, and other wildlife.

    • Learn about Tarangire’s unique eco-system, including its seasonal swamps and the Tarangire River, a vital water source for animals during the dry season.
